The following info is from the Brown & Sharp Website: Specifications - Standard TESA-HITE 4 non-rechargeable 1.5V AA batteries The Tesa-hite’s on-board microprocessor can correct for the probe size, calculate the size of slots and projections, and determine the centerlines of features. The TESA-hite offers three different measuring modes to suit the task — from simple scribing to sophisticated inspection.
