Here we go again... A returning friend is selling some of his parent's household and collectible items as his father has moved to smaller living quarters at this point in his life. These items are quality vintage items, well kept and clean, and represent some names of makers you will recognize! Many items are brand new, but old. Items include glassware, electrical items, tools, ceramics, household items (even large antique furniture pieces), and misc. collectibles. All are described to the best of our ability in consultation with the owner, selling on a no reserve sale, and selling one time only - a neat opportunity! This item is an odd one. This is also a good one! This is a set of four relays for the Elec-Trak Riding Mowers that were made by GE or General Electric in the late 1960s and 1970s. The styrofoam you see has one relay in it that is marked as a "Relay, 243A4562P1" and I think it may be a switch for maybe running the tractor or controlling the transformer - switch is a General Electric, is marked as a 6 72, is 10 amp, 1/4 h.p., and 115 V.A.C. and is in mint new shape with original packing (packing is not too great and shows damage from storage etc... but piece is nice and new. The three other relays are identical, are marked the same but do not have the date code on them - all are marked as Guardian Electric with the same specs as the earlier one in the packing. These three have slight corrosion on the back side chrome (easily clean and should not interfere with use - contacts look fine). I have examined all the terminals and contacts and they are new and in fine shape. All four relays are identical, all are in great shape and selling all four for one money, the starting price is lower than one of these retailed for some 30 years ago! These mowers were 36 volt units themselves.
