Its running perfectly and the only reason I've decided to part with it is that I found another machine from the same era that has a walking foot needle feed system I prefer more for sewing leather. A 95-10 is a drop feed, presser foot machine. However, if you want a machine that can sew light to medium weight leather, a 95-10 can do the job very well and more with heavy denim and other fabrics. The sewing sample pictured will come with the machine. What you are seeing is 2 pieces of 3 oz. vegetable tanned leather that has been oiled and dyed. The thread is 69 weight bonded nylon. I've shown you both sides of the threading...perfectly even on both sides with 2 different stitch lengths. The needle system is 88x1 and they are still being made. The machine comes with the needles pictured along with a zipper foot, 3 total bobbins and the bobbin case in it. I added 2 more photos on 2/26 showing a hihj shank roller foot that you can get for this machine. The leather is 3 layers of 2/3 ounce veggie tan w/o any oil or dye in it...the total thickness is about 1/8-3/16 inch. The working lift on a 95-10 is about 3/8 inch...so, 1/4 inch of anything is best. The machine uses common bobbins and cases widely used by modern sewing machines. To properly use/set up this machine, you will need a leg set, table, motor, oil pan, bobbin winder and a round leather belt...and maybe a thread stand if you want to use large cones. Otherwise, there's a small spool post on it. You will be getting an instruction manual and a parts listing....forgot to photograph them, but you can look at them on the Singer website.
