Click on picture for a larger image. Wayne Kerr Synthesized Signal Generator PSG2400L This Wayne Kerr Synthesized Signal Generator PSG2400L is in good refurbished condition. The case is in good shape, with only a couple of scratches and small dents on the top vent of the unit. All four carry handles of this unit are in good, strong shape. The four feet of this unit, as well as the two fold out feet, have their rubber inserts, and support the unit steadily. The case has all screws in place. The rear heat sink is in good condition, and all labels and placards are intact and easily readable. The GPIB, RF, and BNC outputs are in good, clean shape. The power switch clicks audibly and has a smooth action. The frequency knob rotates freely and precisely. The push buttons on the front panel are in good working order. The display is bright and legible. The unit is also designated SG-1207A/U by the U.S. Army. The PSG2400L is a compact sized, beautifully constructed unit with exceptional mil. spec. performance from 100Khz - 2Ghz. It has 2.4Ghz capability with slightly relaxed specs. The unit is in perfect working condition. The pictures of the unit being tested are strictly representative of the tests we performed on ALL UNITS, and the pictured unit is not the unit for sale. ALL UNITS passed ALL TESTS. This Wayne Kerr PSG2400L is shown with it's power output being metered by a HP EPM 441A Power Meter (E4418A). The unit is also shown having it's output frequency metered by a HP 8562A Spectrum Analyzer. Next, we hooked up an Agilent 53132A Frequency Counter and metered the unit's output at 100MHz and again at 1GHz, with good results. Lastly, we checked the AM Modulation of the unit with a Wayne Kerr AMM20002Q. All units for sale passed a 28-point checklist run from the General Support Maintenance Manual for the SG-1207A/U (TM43-6625-911-14&P) from the Department of the Army.
