The Hewlett-Packard 5061-3001 is an advanced 107-pin variant of the original HP 5061-3010 16-bit NMOS II hybrid microprocessor, which adds a fourth NMOS Address Extension Chip (AEC). The 5061-3001 is one of the most powerful microprocessors of the 1970's, and was never sold as a stand-alone product. This example is a gold trace variant, type 2 lid, 1984 date code, complete with its original 'Honda cylinder head' heatsink, in excellent condition. This chip is large; the heatsink measures 10x6.5cm. Hybrid Microprocessor Information (Hewlett-packard 5061-3001 aec hybrid microprocessor hp is the responsibility of Jim Rios) |
