Tektronix 7704A 200MHz Oscilloscope Mainframe & Plug In It is a good starter oscilloscope. The "focus" knob is broken but it works fine. The 7704A Oscilloscope Mainframe is a 4 plug-in wide mainframe with a 200MHz bandwidth. Rise time is rated at 1.8 ns. Separate intensity adjustments are provided for A and B vertical channels as well as for the alphanumeric CRT readout and the screen's graticule. The user is given the option of chopped, alternating, addition, or single trace vertical operation. Controls also allow from a choice of 4 horizontal modes. With the wide range of plug-ins available for use with this mainframe, the possible uses are almost endless! The 7A26 Amplifier Plug-In is one of the most popular plug-ins used today for the 7000-Series Oscilloscope Mainframes. This dual trace plug-in offers 5 operating modes, trigger-source selectability, and trace identify. Vertical sensitivity of 5 mV/div to 5 V/div and with appropriate mainframe, DC to 200MHz bandwidth is maintained constant over the entire range. Other features include a 20MHz bandwidth limit switch which reduces noise in lower-frequency applications. The 7A12 Dual-Channel Amplifier Plug-In is for use with the 7000-Series mainframes. It is the basic building block for 3 or 4 trace operation. It features constant bandwidth for all deflection factors, 5 operating modes, trigger source selectivity, trace OFFSET with +1000 div range, color-keyed control grouping, and a trace IDENTIFY function. Bandwidth: DC to 105MHz Deflection Factor: 5 mV/div to 5 V/div Input R and C: 1 Mohm within 2%; 24 pF within 1 pF for all deflection factors The Time Base Plug-In is recommended for use with 7313 and 7600-Series Mainframes to provide optimum bandwidth/sweep-speed compatibility. It may, however, be used is any 7000-Series Mainframes. The fastest rate (5 ns/div is obtained with the x10 MAGNIFIER. 5 ns to 5 s/div Calibrated Time Base Triggering to 150MHz Variable Trigger Holdoff Here is the easy-to-use 7B53A Dual Time Base Plug-in, compatible with 7000-Series mainframes. This time base will trigger to 100MHz and has normal, intensified delaying, delayed, and mixed sweep modes. Delaying sweep speeds are 50 ns to 5 s/div in 25 steps (calibrated) and at least 2.5 times the calibrated sweep rate, continuously variable between steps (uncalibrated). Other very useful functions are X10 MAG, INT. and EXT. (main & delayed) trigger inputs, single sweep, front-panel Cal and fine/coarse position controls.
