HAUSE "HOLOMATIC" 5 HP DRIVE UNIT The Groove Rolling or Cutting action is performed by a set of tools mounted in a Manchester Cammed-Closure Rotating Head. The head is carried and fed hydraulically by a Hause Power Feed Unit with a Limit Switch at both the forward and rear ends of its travel. A knurled Nut at the Drive End of the Hause Spindle is set to engage the "Cam-Closure" feature at approximately the last 1/2" of travel of the power feed. The depth of groove is then set by the Stroke adjusment knob on the Hause unit. The Stock (Tube) Stop is moved into and out of position by a Rotary Actuator whose action is controlled by a mechanical air valve that is actuated by the Clamp Jaw closing. An operator Push Button Control Station is provided at the front of the machine, with all of the necessary buttons to Start Up, Select Manual or Automatic Mode, and operate the machine by manually controlling all machine motions.
