Model MTS 2147A Topsheet Application System This is a custom machine designed for use in resistive touchscreen manufacturing. It was built in 2000 approx, but appears to never have been installed. Mounting feet are still in a box... The system has capability to produce single-up or multi-up sensors and includes a heated laminator station as part of the outfeed conveyor. The computer and software which did the video processing in this machine are missing. Every thing else is intact. It has a Allen Bradley PLC SLC 5/03 loaded with IO. At least 4 linear slides with positioning servos for moving various components. I have the original manufacturer's operation manual, and most of the components literature as well. It looks like the program for this machine was cancelled before it was installed. The power disconnect has not had any knockouts removed, suggesting it was never installed. The manufacturer Thames E+D seems to be out of business now. Let me know if you have any questions. An update on this machine, I was contacted by the author of the software for this machine. Even though the machine is missing its pc, he has the original software that was written for it, and would be interested to supply it (cost negotiable I assume) if someone is interested to purchase this machine for its original purpose. This is the note that I received I wrote a PC software for this machine and I still have it. Perhaps you can mention it in the description of the item in case somebody gets interested.
