This is a used workable laser that is for cutting and or welding some fairly heavy materials. it has to be water cooled and has the pump etc. no beam optics or positioning table. unit is 14 foot long and about 2 foot square.Would use a mirror arm or positioning table to cut or weld the materials. requires 3 phase power. vacuum pump is included. originally came from a 3m plant in the midwest. CO2 laser beams are invisible and in the infrared range. highly effective to cut or weld sensitive materials where the heat affected zone need be held to a minimum. Has a controllable beam that can vary heat and pulses. focus is about 3 foot from end of housing.
