NEW Hakko 493ESD Hakko 493 / 493-10 Smoke Absorber with Bench-top Tilt Stand Molded from a non-sloughing static-dissipative plastic, this smoke absorber is useful when soldering static-sensitive components. It is designed to remove noxious substances such as salycylic acid, pinene and hydrogen chloride, found in evaporated smoke that is generated during high temperature, flux-related applications. The unit's carbon-activated urethane filter measures 5& x 5& and absorbs air at a rate of 38 ft.3/min. A snap-shut front grill makes filter replacement simple and easy. Available in two versions. Model 493ESD is mounted on a wire frame, adjustable tilt-stand with rubber sleeves for non-skid bench-top use.
