225KW detroit diesel gen set with only 895 original hours. Was used as backup power for local phone company. Has been stored inside for last 10 years with all ports (exhaust, water, etc) capped off. Was going to be used for peak shaving by us but we never got the project beyond the aquisition of this unit. We have the motor manual, and documentation/wiring diagrams for the control and gens set. The control station has analog meters for amperage, voltage frequency, water temp, oil temp, etc. Here are the specs as far as we know them. Detroit diesel model 7125-7230 motor, serial number 12VA9203. 281KVA generator, by Electric Machinery (EM) of Minneapolis, S/N 665148911R, tagged 1800RPM, 281KVA, 208V / 780A, 240V/ 676A, 480V /338A PF=0.8 Literature I have says whole package is model J86631 "These plants are for use in either attended or unattended telephone company locations to provide ac power during commercial power failures or brownouts" IMPORTANT NOTE, only what is pictured goes with this unit, I do not have the fuel tank, mufflers or cooling radiator that were original to this equipment. I do have some large mufflers that you are welcome to that may or may not work with these (but I may not be able to find them until the spring snow melt as they are outside) and seperately we purchased a radiator with electric motor which I believe would work with this, but is NOT part of this sale, but may be available. This is a really clean looking unit, the action is no reserve. We can load this unit for free, I would estimate the weight at around 10,000 lbs.
