This dust collector has a Davis and Wells name plate on it that looks original but I was told by Dan at Davis and Wells (yes, they are still in business) that Davis an Wells never made collectors and this one could be an Aget that was sold by PAL or something. It runs great. There is a dawer under the cyclone to collect heavy stuff, but we don't have the bag that goes on top of the cyclone. This collector could be used for metal or wood dust collection but please remember to never use it for metal if it has been used for wood and has wood or any other combustable dust in it.
