The Tube Spider is manufactured of the highest quality materials, 6061T6 Aluminum and 300 series stainless steel pins. We use small diameter pins for a more accurate set up in those tight places. Larger pins are much easier to drill for but give inaccurate readings in extreme fits. Using the Tube Spider is simple. Push the collar close to the notch, tighten the thumb screw, push the pins in, transfer the points (connect the dots!) and complete the notch with hole saw, nibbler, grinder or mill. The Tube Spider will not melt or rust in a welding shop environment like the plastic types. The Tube Spider is in use across the U.S.A., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and many other countries.
