L1000 Series Pushbutton Lock by Simplex / KABA MAS The L1000 Series lock provides fully mechanical pushbutton access control with no electrical wiring, electronics, or batteries. Exterior access is by combination OR key Override. Egress is by interior lever and is free at all times. The lock meets Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Thousands of Possible Combinations. Easy to Install on Wood or Metal Doors. Door Thickness: 1-3/8 to 2-1/4. Strike: T-Strike plate, ASA strike plate. DB strike box. Backset: 2-3/4 backset. Installation: ASA 161 door preparation with additional through bore holes required. Handing: Must specify handing, not field reversible. LL = Left Hand, LR = Right Hand. Finish: Satin Chrome 26D (626). All Simplex L1000 series lever locks are handed at the factory & cannot be changed in the field. YOU MUST SPECIFY LEFT LEVER OR RIGHT LEVER. IF HINGE IS ON THE LEFT FROM THE OUSTSIDE = THE DOOR IS A LEFT HAND (LL- LEFT LEVER) IF HINGE IS ON THE RIGHT FROM THE OUTSIDE = THE DOOR IS A RIGHT HAND (RL- RIGHT LEVER) Key Override Can be used to override the lock combination and gain access using a key. The lock accepts removable core cylinders: LL1021S (Schlage), LL1021C (Corbin Russwin), LL1021R (Sargent), LL1021M (Medeco/Yale), LL1021B (Best Compatible). * Allows a facility to maintain or initiate a keyed alike security system with the same key system already in use. I will supply you with the Schlage Cylinder and one key. However you still need go to your local locksmith and have a control key made which will enable you to lock in the cylinder.
