This booklet is called "Farm Blacksmithing, Forge Welding and Making Post Drills and Forge Blowers," written by L.E. Brownlee and published by Star-Publishing in Springdale, Alberta in 1947. First edition. In the introduction Brownlee says the designs for the post drill presses and forage blowers he gives are of a "new and radical design which have never been published before and which were invented by the author. The are entirely successful having been thoroughly test out by over 15 years of actual shop use." There are chapters on building post drills, building forge blowers, necessary shop tools, forge welding and farm blacksmithing. Brownlee also produced booklets on lumber and shingle mills and circular saw hammering. Included in this book is a one page brochure on how to build a saw mill he designed, including specifications and material to use. There is some smudging but the book is in good condition.
