This listing is for a used clamshell infrared heater in very good condition. The controller is not included. A properly sized 80 amp SCR phase angle controller would be required. This unit is designed for a continous in-line process like curring or annealing extrusions, wire, cable, fiber optics, or tubing. There are twelve infrared lamps that heat about 16" of chamber length. Currently the 12 lamps are wired in a single phase 240 v configuration. They can be rewired for 3 phase operation. Cooling tubing runs throughout the chamber to keep the lamp temperature down. We have another one of these units as well as two 10" long models.
