Hanna Instruments Digital Electronic Thermometer This is a brand-new thermometer by Hanna Instruments, covered by the full manufacturer's warranty. You have your choice of an HI98510, which measures in Fahrenheit, or an HI98509, which measures in centigrade. The Checktemp® 1 is a highly accurate digital electronic thermometer. The HI98510 has a range from -58 to +302° F (resolution 0.1° F from -58.0 to 199.9° F, 1°F from 200 to 302°F, accuracy 0.5°F), while the HI98509 reads from -50 to 150°C (resolution 0.1°C, accuracy 0.3°C). The stainless steel probe has a one meter (3.3') cable, and is perfect for fast response in liquids, air, frozen and semi-solid materials. The probe utilizes a high tech NTC thermistor sensor to measure the temperature. Thermistors make it possible to obtain extremely high accuracy in a very short period of time. The Calibration Checktm function ensures accurate and reliable measurements every time. The sharp-tip probe can easily penetrate semisolid products such as fruits, vegetables and cheese, making routine control simple and quick. The AISI 316 stainless steel material of the probe is in compliance with food regulations. The Checktemp uses a 1.4V battery (included) and has a life of 3,000 hours of continuous use.
