John Deere 7000/7100 Row Units - 3 partial MaxEmerge row units for parts o 3 sets of parallel arms – pretty tight yet o standard down pressure springs o 2 unit shanks – not twisted, normal wear on pins (aftermarket = $200 each) o 2 closing wheel shoes w/springs – tight o 2 closing wheels – bearings tight You can see that these are from a plate drive planter. These parts will also interchange with a finger pick-up or bean cup drive planter. If you run row unit mounted equipment, you can drill the holes on the front of the shank units. A can of TSC John Deere paint will make them bright again, too. That is what I did for two rows on my 7000 planter where I use a no-till coulter. I traded planters, so I don’t need my parts. Good used parts can save on the budget. Please check out other parts I have listed. (John deere 7000/7100 planter row unit parts is the responsibility of Sally Underwood) |
