STERO ZOOM MICROSCOPE, by MEIJI TECHNO CO., LTD with stand. MTS-10 SERIES. Stereo eye pieces are 10x, set in Diopter adjustment rings. Each eye piece has a rubber cup, shaped to fit the eye socket and close out light glare. There is an adjustment to allow a perfect fit for distance between the eyes. The Zoom Control Ring adjusts from 1 to 3 with .5 increments. The stand has a Pillar Collar, with a knob set screw for securing the microscope at proper hieght for a rough focus above the work space. The microscope has a set screw (extra safety feature) to secure the scope to the stand above the pillar collar. There are Focusing Knobs on both sides for fine tuning the hieght/focus. Included is a florecent ring light that mounts on the lower lense to illuminate the work area. This is a professional microscope, and was used in a training room, for rework & repair of printed circuit boards. However, it suitable for use in many situations. It would also make an excellent tool for anyone interested old coins, stamps, jewelry, or even bugs, butterflies! Get creative, and take a look at the "smaller world" around you!
