These items are EXPENSIVE, BRAND NEW Fujitsu MB90552APF 16 bit microcontroller IC's. They have an amazing amount of functionality for the price: 83 I/O pins, UART, 8 ch/10 bit AD converter, 16 bit counter/timers, pulse generation timer, rich (340 instructions) and familiar instruction set, 2 KByte internal RAM, etc. etc. They are packaged in a 100 Pin Plastic QFP package. Here is the link for the manufacturer's data sheet for this fine MCU. Thus, these microcontrollers are very useful and inexpensive; a powerful basic system can be built using this MCU plus a few inexpensive Flash memories (or EPROM's) and SRAMS. Unlike Microchip PIC's, they have MANY I/O pins, plus they can address and utilize a very large amount of External Memory. Thus, programs can be VERY SMALL or VERY LARGE (as the user desires) and the rich number of functions and I/O pins makes such systems POWERFUL.
