Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list! A Precision Interference Filter for Astronomers, and other scientists, looking for isoltation of a the Red color. This filter has been developmented to produce excellent transmission of the Red light from 590nm to 725nm, while attenuating most of the background light from the deep Ultra-violet to the mid infrared. Most competitive green filters are either absorbing glass, or dielectric with limited free spectral range, so do not provide a pure signal, especially with CCD cameras. The filter is mounted, and has an outer dimension of 25.0 mm +.5-.5 mm, and a thickness of 5 mm. It can be mounted in a standard 28 or 1.25 eye piece threaded mount. (Eye piece rings are available at my Store) Specifications follow: To Pass > 80% of Green light, and to reject by reflection 99.9+% of all other light from UV to approximately 1200+nm. Filter supplied with actual spectral data. If you are still not finding a good match, follow my links to Omega's Build a Filter. With a note to the effect that cosmetic seconds are acceptable, you will be surprised how economical an exact match can be.
