Liquid Nitrogen Flex Angle 4†Trap Nor-Cal’s liquid nitrogen traps are used to remove condensible gasses before they enter the mechanical pump and contaminate the oil. They also prevent oil vapors from the mechanical pump from contaminating the chamber. These traps actually act as a pump producing lower base pressures and faster pump down. The dual-tube trap can be attached to an automatic fill tube, eliminating the need for refilling the reservoir with liquid nitrogen. The maximum duration of time between refills on the single tube models is as follows: 6 inch diameter ........................ 11 hours The two-piece trap body and 304 stainless steel construction allow these traps to be easily cleaned without disassembling the system.
