The new Digital Elite welding helmet features the precision of digital control with memory and convenient bottom-mounted lens controls. As with all Elite helmets it includes a 30% larger viewing area! The new Lens Technology requires no recharging! It is battery-powered with solar-assist for exceptionally long life, no recharging required. The Elite lens responds to extremely low DC inverter TIG arcs and four independent arc sensors provide continuous arc-sensing capability for demanding applications. * Four Modes for maximum versatility with X-mode for electromagnetic sensing of the arc for working in sunlight, low-amperage applications, obstructed view and obstructed light sensor. * 30% larger viewing area than our XLi and XLix Series lenses. The #3 ultra-clear light-state is unsurpassed, making set-up and repositioning more efficient. * Lens technology responds to extremely low-amperage TIG arcs (5 amps and below), including DC inverter TIG.
