This manual covers operations, including GPIB, and programming of the Tektronix AFG 5101 / AFG 5501 TM-5000 Series Programmable Arbitrary/Function Generator Plug-In (5101) and monolithic version (5501). It is scanned from the original manufacturer's manual. The scans came out well, and all information available in the original manual is available here. Please be advised, however, that this does not include schematics or PCB diagrams, as the original manual did not. There is full operation, GPIB, and Programming information. The maintenance section is pretty much limited to fuse and battery replacement and advice on calibration and adjustment intervals. Manual change information is dated October 4, 1990. The Tek part number for this manual is 070-6759-00. Two PDFs of the manual are provided, in two resolutions. One is: Text pages scanned at 300dpi (minimum) Text with Drawings at 400dpi (minimum) black and white or grayscale (content-dependent) The other PDF is done in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce a useable quality, quickly navigable file that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed. We send you both both resolutions on the CD. You'll receive the large file, plus the smaller, faster text-searchable version. That way, you can navigate, search and etceteras with the fast file and only use the largeer file when you want to print. All original manual pages are supplied in both resolutions, with no pages added or subtracted. The higher resolution manual has both the chapter-page numbering system ("electronic manual page numbers match paper manual page numbers") and the sequential page numbering system. The high resolution version is fully bookmarked and extensively hyperlinked, for those folk who like that, and the smaller, faster version is text-searchable, as well as also being fully bookmarked and extensively hyperlinked.
