Tektronix 492 Service Manuals (S/N B030000-Up) in PDF on CD Plus Two SpecAn App Notes and 3 TekScope Volumes Instead of making your decision based on someone's marketing hype, why not check out samples? Here's a (5 megabyte) sample of the large resolution files, and here's a (430 kb) sample of the lower resolution files. Each is a zipped PDF file of five pages extracted directly from the 492 Spectrum Analyzer manuals you'll receive. Also includes Spectrum Analyzer Fundamentals (Tek A/N 26W-7037), Baseband Measurements Using the Spectrum Analyzer (Tek A/N written for the 7L5, but "concepts are concepts"), and a TekScope PDF containing three volumes (Mar '71, Jan/Feb '74, and V9#1 (1977)). These manuals cover the Tektronix 492/492P Spectrum Analyzer, s/n B030000 & up. They are scanned from the original manufacturer's manuals. The scans came out well, and the information available in the original manuals is available here. Two sets of the manuals are provided, in two resolutions. One is: Text with photos: 600dpi, grayscale (contrast adjusted) Text with Drawings: 600dpi black and white Schematics: 600dpi black and white Schematics and board overlays with color notes: 256 colors 600dpi Yes, and of course it's bookmarked. The other set is done in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce a clear, good quality, quickly navigable file that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed. We send both on the CD. You'll receive the above described (in our opinion) too-large files, plus the smaller, faster and (in our opinion) more useful text-searchable versions.
