This Engine Control Board houses the LCD displays, the Engine Control Relays, Engine Interconnect Receptacles, Speed Sensing, Power Supply, and Signal Conditioning. The Engine Control Relays for fuel solenoid and cranking motor relay are each rated at 10 Amps. Connection is through a Molex plug rated at 10 amps. There are 10 a mp dry relay contacts for Fault annunciation. The controller makes use of Standard automotive senders for temperature and pressure reading and safety set point monitoring. DISPLAY MUST BE IN THE CENTER OF FRONT METAL PANEL for it to fix correctly. Swap out your microprocessor and you'll be all set. The AC Monitoring Board senses the AC Voltage, and AC Current through its respective plugs. The AC Monitoring Board is internally connected to the Engine Control Board, and accepts full rated AC voltage. The Control System is rated to operate on diesel, natural gas, and LP engines with either 12 or 24 VDC battery. The engine vitals; Oil Pressure, Engine Temperature, Battery Voltage, Running Time, and Safety Set Points are monitored on the large two line, extended temperature range, Super Twist, Back Lighted LCD display. Generator AC Voltage, AC Amperage, and Frequency are also displayed on the LCD display. The Generator Engine Oil Pressure, Coolant Temperature, AC Voltage Frequency, and Battery Voltage are displayed constantly. The Generator AC Volts and AC Amps constantly scroll Phase 1-2, Phase 2-3, and Phase 3-1. The Running Time and Safety Set Points are displayed upon request. There are three 32 character message display screens for job specific information i.e. safety set point diagnostics, phone number to call for service etc. The memory storage is rated for 100 years without battery power. Should a fault condition such as High Coolant Temperature exist the fuel relay will open, the fault relay will close, and the LCD display will read out and hold the fault condition including the actual reading when the fault occurred, i.e. Fault High Temperature 226 °. The ECM is capable of both remote and local start. Any fault condition will require manual reset. (Digital control module for elliott generators is the responsibility of Connie Richmond) |
