From the instructions: The McDonnell 69 Series utilizes the will known operating mechanism of the McDonnell No. 67 Quick Hook-up Low Water Cut-off in a "built in version. The 69 Series features packless construction which eliminates stuffing box and minimizes friction; roller and rocker twin switch; adjustable conduit outlet for easy wiring and ease of installation. The 69 Series Built in Low Water Cut-offs is furnished with a threaded barrel casting which fiets right into a 2 1/2 inch tapping provided by some boiler manufacturers in the side of the boiler.
