* its white lid (see other photos) * the original instruction sheet The unit has a somewhat beat up white lid. Brimful capacity is 16oz. A convenient way to use it is with 4 oz of cleaning solution in this small plastic cup (included) and 4 oz of water outside the cup in the tank, to couple it acoustically to the ultrasonic generator in the bottom of the cavity. The unit probably owes its survival to always having been on this timer. Besides getting shut off after 1/2 hr max, you also get an extra chance to remember to put water in the tank before the power goes on. I suppose a few minutes running on empty wouldn't kill it, but eventually heightened heat & undamped mechanical vibrations wouldn't be healthy.
