Digilab III is a multimicroprocessor controlled instrument designed for rapidly determining the carbon, silicon, and carbon equivalent of unalloyed cast iron. Additionally, a temperature measurement circuit is provided for measuring molten metal temperatures in furnaces, pouring ladles, and holding ladles The Digilab III has a built-in, user-programmable calculator that can run equations using the readings from the cup to give results on various parameters concerning the molten iron. The user can modify many internal variables of the Digilab III as needed to obtain the required information about the melt. Weight is about 80 pounds. Dims are 12†x 18†x 24â€.
