Bearings of the cutting elements have revolving seating which allow for step less adjustment of bevel angles, up or down, on an accurate graduation scale. Adjustment is manual and guaranteed free of deviation. No imbalance will occur in any degree of angle-setting.
Perform very practical operations with this specialized insert cutter. Cut Bevels from 0 to 90 degrees, straight jointed edges, and raised panels . Tool for shapers moulders, double end tenoners, edging machines etc. Inserts are reversible 2 edge 40 mm, replaceable almost anywhere and very affordable. This cutter has excellent repeatability.

Yes, typically a box will hold 35 sets of knives, sometimes more. At $4.50 per knife this would be quite a savings.

HI Dave This head is a must for any shop that is making mouldings on a shaper. I started useing it 20+ years ago. Here is a little trick you can use.If you want to use it for radius work. Tilt the head to the desired degrees you want.Measure the diameter at the narrowest point.Make a ring out of 3/4" MDF with a OD 1/16+" larger then the narrowest dia. I do this by drilling a small hole in the blank and spining it round on the disc sander.I have a 3" dia. multi-spur drill bit that drills a hole just snug enough to press on to my 3" dia ball bearing shaper collar.Stack the collar on top of the beveling head and tighten nut. Make sure that the bearing spins free, and you are ready to go to work.If you have any questions about this operation feel free to contact me. Rick
