The USBCNC-FAD disk reader control acts as an interface between commercially available USB flash memory and any Fadal CNC 88 using the RS-232 port located at the rear of the machine. USB connectivity can be achieved with any version of Fadal CNC software, from -2 systems to -6 systems. A great way to expand the number and size of programs that can be run on the Fadal control. DNC with midtape starts allows very large programs to be run right from the USB disk key. A 1 Gigabyte USB disk flash memory is included with the system. Designed for easy field installation, the total time required for USB connectivity is usually less than 5 minutes. Features of the USBCNC-FAD include: * Help menu with a list of all commands * DNC operation (run large programs from USB disk key) * Punch of tooling and program data to USB key * Punch of tooling data only * Punch of current program only * Punch of machine parameters * Punch machine's survey data * Tape input for file loading to CNC memory * View command to verify the proper file has been selected prior to upload or DNC operation Each USBCNC-FAD comes with everything you need to install onto your Fadal CNC machining center. Also included with the unit is a 1 GB USB disk to get you started immediately with moving files from your PC to your machine using the USB disk key.
