These are brand new sensors custom made for Celsionix. We have large quantities of these sensors available. High Accuracy 10K ohms at 25C N.T.C. temperature sensor, lug style (+-0.2C accuracy) #22, 12 inches long, insulated -10C to +10C, +- 0.5 degrees C +50C to +105C, +- 0.5 degrees C 10000/341.9 = 29.248 (Type 2 sensor) Recommended Operating range is -10C to +100C Note: Temperatures beyond +105C may degrade the sensor and are not recommended. Thermistors are thermally sensitive resistors whose function is to exhibit a large, predictable and precise change in electrical resistance when subjected to a corresponding change in body temperature. Because of their very predictable characteristics and their excellent long term stability, thermistors are generally accepted to be the most advantageous sensor for many temperature-measurement and control applications including HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning). Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistors exhibit a decrease in electrical resistance when subjected to an increase in temperature. Our lug type sensor has an over-molded cover designed to make them very moisture resistant and should provide reasonable protection for use as an outside temperature sensor as long as it is not subjected to full immersion in water for an extended period. This sensor is not rated for immersion applications unless protected by secondary cover tube or enclosure. Compatibility with other vendors Sensors: The CelsioniX (***)-001-4399 lug sensor is a "Type 2" 10K thermistor sensor.
