My Stores Logo Be sure to add me to your favorites list! The 509 is a microprocessor-based thermostat intended for one stage heating applications. The 509 includes one Slab 079 Sensor. This sensor can be used to measure air temperature to get an average temperature for large areas. The auxiliary sensor can be used to measure slab temperature in order to limit the minimum and / or maximum allowed slab temperature.
