1 GM CONVERTER FOR RECYCLING FULL AND I took this converter off myself and one side of the honeycomb was busted up but none had come out. I pulled the material out only for the purpose of taking pictures to show that it is all there. The side was the motor side so im confident none was lost through the exhaust of the car. There is also some kind of insulating material between the honeycomb and the steel that came out with the honeycomb. I do not know what it is but it appears to have gold flakes in the material as shown in the picture. I have put all the material back into the one side of the converter and shrink wrapped it so none would be lost. Weight: After putting the honeycomb back inside the converter and shrink-wrapping it the converter weighed 8 lbs 10 oz. Lenght: 13.5" note - this mesurement is of the honeycomb section not from cut end to cut end I garuntee the item description or your money back.
