J. Wiss & Sons Combination Tin Snips. A quality made tool that still shows in this vintage No.19. After a bit of searching I found it in their 1952 catalog. Below is the part of the original description from that catalog. "Combination snips so named because they are made with straight blades but ground and shaped in such a manner that they can be used for cutting curves and irregular shapes as well as straight work." Crucible Steel Inland Blades. 12 1/2" OAL with a 3" LOC. (1952 wiss no.19 combination tin snips, good condition is the responsibility of Ana Shaffer) |
