~Belt is vintage and made to be worn by contractors, weightlifters, labourers, tradesmen, journeymen, etc., to lessen strain and keep down wear and tear on the back. It also protects a hernia or an injury from further damage, as well as preventing from acquiring them in the first place. It is worth its weight in gold if it fits, and it really helps! ~Good for a person with around 30 to 35 inch waist or so, belt is 6 inches wide at the back and 3 inches wide at the front and buckle. The cowhide appears to be ¼ inch thick. ~That fact, together with its heavy stainless steel buckle and large copper rivets, makes for a fairly impressive, heavy duty, stalwart piece of work apparel! ~Its condition as a functioning, effective item is excellent, with everything rugged and in great working order. It has seen a lot of work and use and shows it, but wears it well. The patina and wear is almost as a badge of pride. ~The name “LEONARD†has been embossed on the back, a tribute to the previous owner. This is a belt that will last for a very long time! 7.
