It is appropriate for heavy electrical work and intermediate sheet metal work. This iron offers the user greater ability to perform applications due to its larger capacity to store heat. It measures 13 1/2 inches from the tip to the end of the handle. I'm not which tip this iron has on it. It is in great used condition. The cord is a little torn in a couple of places which can be seen in the picture. This does not keep it from working. It heats up very fast. This product costs more than $100.00 brand new!
