HP54645A/D Operation and Service Guide Plus Programmer's Guide and I/O Function Guide Each in Both Very High and in Standard Resolution PDFs on CD Why settle for just one resolution? You get them both! (No need to "email for samples," so no need to worry about getting sold to a SPAM list!) (Please read FAQ or "About Me" Page) These are the Original Equipment Manufacturer's (HP) Operator's and Service Guide (54645-97012) (there are no schematics in this service manual as supplied by HP; it's a "modular level" manual), Programmer's Guide (54645-97000) for the Model HP54501A and HP54645D Oscilloscopes, and the 54600-Series I/O Function Guide (54652-97002). These are in .PDF (Adobe Acrobat Reader) format. From this disk, you can recreate the information in the original manuals in printed form if you wish, using Acrobat (a distributable version is included). These manuals include operations, programming, and service information specific to the HP54645A and D plus a great deal of general info pertaining to oscilloscopes and their use. Two PDFs of each manual are provided, in two resolutions. One is: Text with Drawings at 600dpi black and white Text with photos (if any) at 600dpi grayscale with contrast adjusted Any color pages at 600dpi 256 colors This resolution looks nice, but for many purposes uses excessive resources. Although it's great to have this resolution for those times you need higher definition (printing, for example), we also include a second scan of each document in more normal resolutions for daily research and use on the bench. The second set of scans is done in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce a useable quality, quickly navigable file that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed. On the CD you'll receive the large "very high resolution" files, plus the smaller, faster and often more useable text-searchable versions. ALL original manual pages are supplied. Page counts and file sizes, as provided by "marketing" vendors, are very often artificially inflated with advertising and/or blank pages. Therefore we refrain from advertising them and instead assure you that these manuals are complete and are scanned in the specified resolutions.
