Here is a Floating Tap Holder that is in EXCELLENT like new condition as you can see. Size .......................... 3/4" Hole where the tap slides in, the tap is held in place by two ball bearings in a lock retainer type system. That collet can be removed, the set screws appear to hold the collet in place and there are holes in the side of the collet so the set scerws can go through it also, perhaps to hold other tools besides taps, I am not sure, but this looks like a really expensive tool. The head floats in a circular motion it is not a tension compression style floating head. Shank ....................... 1" Made By .................. EDW Company Model ...................... 28-21 Length Overall ........ 6-3/4" (Edward andrews floating tapping head quick change 2821 is the responsibility of Aileen Howe) |
