This is a Wahlstrom automatic drill chuck, capacity 1/64 to 1/2 . It is used but is in great shape, works just like it's supposed to and runs good and true. If you've never used one of these on a manual Bridgeport type machine or a drill press you'll wonder how you ever got along without it. These things are fantastic. You change tools without stopping the spindle. Tool changes take about one second. These chucks are fantastic time savers. I was introduced to them about 25 years ago and I haven't been without them since. They grip the tool great and will even run taps if you want to, but they will sometimes lose their grip on the tap when you reverse to back it out, especially on the larger ones.
