Fits models Ultra and Ultimate 400, Ultra and Ultrimate 500, EM380, EM390, EM490, Nova, and Super Nova. UNITS THAT HAVE A SLEEVED CYLINDER ONLY. A bad cylinder can cause your sprayer to work much harder than it is designed for. If it is totally worn your pump will not suck up paint at all. That degree of damage ought to be easily visible on the inside wall of the cylinder. Any wear that can be felt with a fingernail will cause new packings to wear much quicker than normal. Vertical grooves in the middle of piston travel are caused by foreign material getting dragged up through the packings, and subsequent high pressure squirting through. Vertical scratches at the top of travel is caused by a lack of piston lube, and circular lines around the piston are caused by improper storage and subsequent corrosion. Normal wear causes wear-down of the diameter in a smooth even area and will eventually cause heavy vertical grooving from bypass pressure.
