This nice vice measures 14 ½ inches long with the jaws closed. The jaws open up to 4 inches. The width of the jaws of the vice are 3 ½ inches. The total height of the vise from the bottom to the top of the jaws is 6 inches. This vise has a round base on it that is 6 inches in diameter. The sliding handle or lever for opening and closing the jaws of the vise is 9 ½ inches long. This vise is in SUPER NICE but barely used condition. The vise has been painted but as far as I can tell there are NO nicks or chips in the metal of the vice from pounding, hammers, etc. ***THE REASON THE VISE LOOKS "ROUGH" IN THE PICTURES IS BECAUSE OF THE VERY THICK PAINT THAT IS COMING OFF OF THE METAL. *** If you strip this vise after you get it, it's appearance would be (in my opinion) pretty close to near mint.
