Digital EGT Thermometer, Pyrometer Kit Up for sale is Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) kit that includes a meter, a box and a clamp on ETG probe. The meter is a brand new compact size (1x2x3" or 24 x 48 x75mm) digital thermometer, It can be powered directly by the car battery (12 VDC). Its bright LED display is easy to read from a distance as compared with many dim LCD type digital thermometers. The programmable alarm will turn on a blue LED in the front panel to get driver's attention if the temperature is above the setting point. It will also close a relay output port that can be used to turn on a buzzard, shut off the fuel, or turn on a cooling fan. The meter stores the peak temperature with time that can be checked later. It can also operate in the peak holding mode so that only the maximum temperature is displayed. The meter will accept all EGT sensors on the market and display the temperature in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. The box is made of aluminum extrusion; powder coated in black color. The front panel is pre-cut to fit the controller. The back panel has a ¼†hole drilled near the corner for cable. It can be easily enlarged if large cable is used. The dimension of the box is 65x35x85 mm or 2.6 x 1.38 x 3.35†(w x h x l). The box has enough space for the meter, switch and buzzer. Clamp-on EGT sensor is a K type thermocouple with exposed tip junction for fast response time. All stainless steel construction for durability. It can also be mounted on a weld on fitting with 3/8â€-24 threads. Cable length, 78†(2 meters). Probe diameter. 3/16†(0.187†or 4.8 mm). Clamp range: 1.5-2.5†(38-63 mm).
