One each new shop made cross feed and compound slide nuts. Machined from SAE660 bronze. For South Bend Heavy 10" lathes with back lash adjustment to compensate for wear in screw and minimize or eliminate backlash. This cross feed nut has a 7/16"-10 L.H. Acme thread with a .624" dia. mounting boss with a 3/8-16 mounting bolt. The compound slide has 3/8 -10 R.H. Acme thread with .498 dia. mounting boss and 1/4-20 mounting bolt. Please compare these dimensions to existing parts to determine compatibility. I am a retired toolmaker and have been making replacement parts for my own machines.
