The 5371A analyzes this data, turning it into useful information by producing statistics, histograms, time variation graphs, and performing limit tests. The 5371A has the ability to analyze the dynamics of frequency, time interval, and phase as a function of time. The 5371A can help you analyze jitter effects, characterize the transient and steady state responses of a VCO, examine frequency or phase modulation, measure frequency stability, analyze computer peripherals, or measure fast hopping radio signals. Calculated Allan Variance specifies frequency stability in the time domain. A full set of arming and trigger features allow you to precisely select waveform features to be measured. · DC to 500 MHz frequency range · -4.0 to +4.0 Second time interval range · 2 mV trigger level resolution · Measurement arming by signal edge, time, or event · General Purpose Interface Bus Condition: Reconditioned and Performance Tested to meet manufacturers specifications. Clean unit inside and out. Physically inspected, hardware re-torqued, connectors treated with a preservative, controls and switches lubricated as appropriate, power supply electrolytics tested. Burned in for 72 hours and then performance tested. All knobs and switches are in good condition. Unit has normal screen burn for this vintage instrument. The burn is noticeable but display completely legible. Besides passing the self-test as shown the unit has also been performance tested using external laboratory standards. What do our grades mean?
