Microchip 24LC16B or 24WC16P EEPROM [Sold in packs of 5 EEPROMs. Individual price of £0.30 each] The 24LC16B and 24WC16P EEPROMs are electrically erasable data storage devices with exactly 2048 bytes of data storage. Beyond the slight power consumption differences then it should matter little what one of these two types you end up with when I have always been able to swap over these two EEPROM types as desired with zero problems.
