It is scanned from the original manufacturer's manual, and all information available in the original manual is available here. This is Tektronix part #070-1126-01, a "late run printing which covers serial numbers B010100 through B127452". One is: Text with Drawings at 600dpi black and white or grayscale (content-dependent) Schematics at 600dpi black and white or grayscale (content-dependent) Text with photos at 600dpi (minimum) grayscale with contrast adjusted Schematics, overlays with color notes (if any) at 600dpi 256 colors (minimum) The other PDF is done in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce a useable quality, quickly navigable file that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed. We send you both both resolutions on the CD. You'll receive the large file, plus the smaller, faster text-searchable version. That way, you can navigate, search and etceteras with the fast file and only use the large file when you want to print. There's no need to clutter up your drives with PDFs hundreds of megabytes in size, nor any need to spend time writing them to and from the hard drive if you aren't the sort who likes to waste space. Yet the extra-large PDF is still provided for when you need exceptional print quality. All original manual pages are supplied in both resolutions, with no pages added or subtracted.
